Grids for Instagram App Reviews

Love the program, one of my favorite instagram clients on OS X, but the latest version no longer shows “following” or “News” in their tabs. Now this could be due to Instagrams new 3rd party policy but hopefully it will get fixed to work again.

Really would like to view notifications and followings, it is broken since commenting was fixed. Would be nice to actually have everything working at once (for once).

The news and following application is not working. It just spins busy!

I really like the app. However, following and news sections don’t work, notifications neither. It would be fantastic to be able to make a slideshow out of liked photos, friends, and favorites. Please update!

This is the only app I like using on the mac for Instagram but im not able to see any notifications just wondering when this would be taken care of?

Edit7: DO NOT UPDATE TO VERSION 3.1!!! This latest “update” is the worst yet. I suppose by “Performance Improvement” they mean taking away the ability to save photos and videos, which is one of the main reasons to use this app. I just reverted back to the previous version from Time Machine. The beginning of the end is near. Edit 6: This is the final straw. Switching between accounts does not work at all. I am being constantly asked for my login information even though it is already obviously logged in. Edit 5: No longer works. It crashed inexplicably, followed by a snarky message telling me to pay for the app LEGALLY because the developer has a family to feed. Excuse me?! I already paid for this app, and this is the thanks I get for supporting your family?! Please do not support this jerk developer any longer. I sure wont. Edit 4: New update causes HUGE memory leaks. It basically eats up all of my remaining harddrive space to the point where the computer tells me it is down to ZERO bytes. Once I close Grids, the memory comes back. 09/30/15 Edit 3: Getting worse and worse. Every time I leave a comment on a post now, it would show in the comment count that it went through, but ultimately, it ends up not posting anything. Edit 2: It is getting extremely unstable. When I try to like something, it tells me “you cannot like this media” [sic] with no explanation why. Hopefully, this can be fixed. Edit: I just dowloaded v2.0, and while the new features are great, the constant crashes render it almost unusable. The worst part is that you have to enter your password again every single time. For someone with multiple accounts as I do, this is quite the pain. Hopefully, this gets fixed soon. I have been using the web-based Gramfeed for awhile now, which is much better than the horrible Instagram site. Grids is a big improvement on Gramfeed, and basically carries over the features that I enjoy, like the ability to save photos AND videos. In addition, the feed on Grids is fast, and displayed in a beautifu interface, reminscent of the album cover art mode on iTunes, I am not sure why Instagram chooses to purposely dumb down it’s website, but I am grateful that Grids more than makes up for it.

Don’t know what the other guy talking about. Saving works well for me after update. Overall a great Instagram app, very well designed and made.

this app is grate, but still could improve. i would like that when clicking on an image/post in full screen, it should be larger, its to small. thanks

So far I havent had any problems with the app. I actually like that I can see a lot of photos quicker than using the phone and the design looks great. Love it.
