Just WOW.
This is the BEST app for viewing Instagram pictures on your computer. Its simple and really well designed. Its totally worth the $5!
Nice App
On a Mac, this app is much nicer to use than Instagram’s website, it’s growing on me.
What I wanted
This is just what I needed for instagram on my Mac ,best app out there
Overall, this is one of the better Instagram apps available but…. When I search for “dogs”, why does it not show me pictures of dogs? Instead I get a list of tags. Sure I can click on a tag to see photos with that tag but that is an extra unnecessary step.
The App is beautiful but constantly get a “host not found” error when I click on a photo. TALKED TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THEY SAID RESTART THE APP, SO I DID PROBLEM SOLVED. BUT I HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY DAY. Really need to work out your bugs instead of saying its my internet problem because the other instagram app PHOTO DESK works flawless. Also Every time I launch a session and I want to check “Following and News” I have to log into Instagram despite the fact that I’m already logged into it cause its displaying my feed. So after five days with this i am downgrading it to 2 stars. HELLO! ANYONE LISTENING.
30 likes per hour?
Why can I only like 30 photos per hour? That seems really arbritary and out of place. Please fix this.
it was fine until today
Crash, unresponsive, crash, can’t force quit, sign in again and again and again … horrible
DO NOT PURCHASE!! App is very unreliable and always crashes!! I purchased this app a few weeks ago and when it’s stable, it’s great. But it is never stable; 99% of the time the app will crash, sometimes after being open for less than a minute, sometimes after 20 minutes. There is no ryhme or reason; It is very unpredictable! I have run this app on 3 different Mac’s running 10.10.5 and it will crash on all of them!! I am currently running the latest version of the app, 2.4.3, but each version of the app that I have tried has crashed. This is the ONLY app that I own, from the Mac store or otherwise, that will crash with this frequency! It was a total waste of money, and more importantly time!

Was working fine for about a week then a pop-up came up telling me to buy the software legally to support his family. What?!?!? I downloaded this from the app store…. I immediatly deleted the app, if you don’t want a free version of the app in the app store then don’t put it there. Don’t tell your customers they must “Legally” download the app
All the time I try to use this and click on a photo on my feed only to have it refresh my feed and bring me back to the latest posts. This is SO agravating, leaving me having to scroll forever sometimes to get back to where I was with browsing. My biggest beef is that I just got an obnoxious message telling me not to use their product illegally and that I need to purchase it… hey jerks I DID purchase it! And now I kinda want my $4.99 back!
I’ve been using it with few issues for several months but today it randomly popped up a message telling me to purchase the app. It then closed and now won’t re-launch. I had already bought the app, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the App Store but it still doesn’t work. I don’t know how the app tries to detect a pirated version… but it isn’t working apparently.

Not too happy with being accused of not buying the app. I recommended this app to several people, will definitely NOT be doing that anymore.
Like the app, but don’t like that the update bricked it and came with a silly tsk tsk message belittling me for not paying for the app, which I did. Can I crash the developer’s computer with a messsge asking for my money back?
I have already bought the app. I just received an update that crashed app. It won’t open up again. I got a message to buy what I’ve already purchased. Bad business. Ridiculous practice. I am filing a claim to Apple. So should you!
To the developer’s credit, they fixed the credentials issue very quickly (it had been notifying paid customers that they were pirating). A solid Instagram client for the Mac - it looks especially beautiful in Square view, full-screen.
Since this most recent update, Grids is spectacular. The importance of high-resolution support in an *image viewing* app cannot be overstated! Great work, everybody.
I had this thing popping up and i could not even use it. Too wierd for me and too much easier to use my iPad. i wish there was a good app for instagram on Macbook. Even the one on my Nokia 1020 phone is better. The version on my dope iPhone5, YES, purposely purchased iPhone 5 over 6 or others. Not on a program, those are for suckers. pay cash. Save two hundred or three hundred bucks over a “plan” you buy into. Seriously.
In the new version, love that we can now add comments. However, now I cannot view notifications. Otherwise a great desktop application for Instagram.
